2. Measurement and Test Report

Our engineers review the drawing and evaluate the tube’s bending feasibility. We determine the suitable machine type, tooling structure, mandrel, wiper die, clamping method, and process parameters.

If there is a high risk of wrinkling, collapse, excessive wall thinning, or springback, we will explain the problem before testing.

3. Sample Bending

We install the required tooling and perform a CNC bender sample test using your actual material or an agreed equivalent tube.

The bending speed, clamping force, mandrel position, pressure-die movement, and springback compensation are adjusted according to the tube characteristics.

4. Engineering Evaluation

After bending, our engineers inspect the finished sample. Key dimensions and forming conditions are recorded in the sample report.

Photos and videos can also be provided so you can review the process and finished result remotely.

5. Sample Return and Machine Recommendation

The completed bent samples can be returned to you for dimensional inspection, welding tests, assembly verification, coating tests, or internal approval.

How many pipe samples should I send?

We recommend sending 3-5 straight pipes, each 300-500 mm in length. This allows us to test the repeatability of multiple bends and confirm that the test result of the first pipe is not accidental.

After testing, we will send the bent samples back to you, along with a detailed quality inspection report, including dimensional measurement data, actual photos of the samples, forming effect analysis, process optimization suggestions, and suitable equipment configuration solutions for your acceptance.

Drawings are helpful but not required. At a minimum, please inform us of your pipe material, outer diameter, wall thickness, target bending angle, and bending radius. If you have a 3D model or 2D printed part, please provide it as well so that we can more accurately select the appropriate cutting tools.
