When standard axis counts, bending capacities, or machine structures don’t match your product, we configure from the ground up. We’ve developed 2-axis through 6-axis configurations, left-hand and right-hand bending, push bending and rotary draw bending, single-head and double-head machines, heavy-duty hydraulic systems for thick-wall structural tube, and robotic production cell integration.

The right machine with the wrong tooling produces bad parts. Tooling directly determines your tube’s surface quality, dimensional accuracy, ovality, wall thinning, and wrinkle behavior at the bend.

We design complete tooling sets — bend dies, clamp dies, pressure dies, mandrels, mandrel balls, wiper dies, collets, and support fixtures — matched to your tube’s actual cross-section, wall thickness, material, and minimum bend radius. For stainless steel, polished aluminum, and coated tube profiles, we select contact surface materials and finishes that protect the tube surface through the bending cycle.

Before we manufacture anything, your part goes through simulation. We model the complete bending sequence in 3D — checking for interference between the tube and machine body, identifying where the outer wall thins, evaluating ovality risk on thin-wall profiles, and confirming that the springback compensation approach will hold your required angle tolerance.

For multi-bend and three-dimensional parts, this stage prevents the tooling adjustments and re-engineering that happen when problems are discovered after the machine is built. Complex parts are validated in simulation before production starts — not discovered on the shop floor after delivery.

4.Automated Production Line Integration

A standalone bending machine has a throughput ceiling. When your volume or cycle time requirement exceeds what a single machine can deliver with manual handling, we design the complete line.

6-Axis Automated Bending Cell, Automotive Exhaust Supplier, Germany

A German automotive exhaust pipe supplier needed to produce a stainless steel tube assembly with 7 bends in three spatial planes — a geometry that required rotation between every bend group and had a collision risk between the tube tail and the bending head on the fourth bend. Their previous supplier had quoted a 4-axis machine that couldn’t execute the full program without manual repositioning.

Zhuoran’s engineering team modeled the complete 7-bend sequence in 3D simulation, identified the collision point at bend 4, and redesigned the bending head clearance geometry to eliminate it. A 6-axis CNC machine was configured with automatic mandrel retraction sequencing. Sample bending confirmed zero interference and ±0.3° angle repeatability before shipment. The customer’s welding rejection rate on this assembly dropped by 71% in the first production quarter.

Integrated Bending Forming Production Line of a US HVAC Manufacturer

A US HVAC component manufacturer was running tube cutting, bending, and end forming as three separate manual operations — with WIP inventory stacking between each station and three operators managing the flow.
