-Semi-automatic pipe bending machine molds

The molds of semi-automatic pipe bending machine usually consist of six parts. Among them, the wiper and mandrel need to be used under specific circumstances.

Such as when the pipe diameter is small, the pipe wall thickness is thick, or when bending a solid rod. In these cases, these two parts can be omitted and the bending can still be completed. Because these two parts are used to prevent the bending position of the pipe from breaking, wrinkling, or becoming oval during the bending process, they are auxiliary parts for bending.

These molds can be made of different materials, such as 45#, 42CrMo, Cr12, hard nylon, etc. They are suitable for use in different situations.

45# is the most common material. Ordinary carbon steel pipes or aluminum pipes can be made of this material. It is cheap and easy to use.

42CrMo and Cr12 are usually used when the pipe material is hard, such as stainless steel or alloy materials. They have good wear resistance and corrosion resistance, and have a longer service life.

Hard nylon is usually used for pipes made of softer materials, such as aluminum, to avoid scratches on the pipe during bending.

As a relatively large NC pipe bending machine, the DW89NC requires a working space of 5.5 meters in length and 2 meters in width to ensure smooth and safe operation.

Yes, you can easily adjust the bending speed! Simply regulate the throttle valve that controls hydraulic bending, and you’ll be able to set the speed according to your needs.

Once you’ve adjusted the machine properly, just switch it to semi-automatic mode. In this mode, you only need to step on the foot pedal switch to start the bending process—it’s simple and convenient.

Hydraulic bending may be slightly affected by the temperature of the hydraulic oil. To reduce bending errors and maintain accuracy while ensuring speed, we suggest fully preheating the machine before use.

It depends on the pipes you’re bending! If you’re working with thin-walled pipes that are easy to break during bending, using a professional bending and stretching lubricant will help you complete the bending process more smoothly and protect the pipes from damage

The maintenance cycle varies based on how frequently you use the machine and the working environment. Generally, we recommend performing maintenance 1 to 2 times a month to keep the machine in good working condition.
